Using the ampersand (&) as the subject, twenty-four frames of pen-plotted imagery come together to create an animated drop cap. The two-second loop demonstrates continuity, which is a fundamental quality of the ampersand. The submitted piece for the Ligature show is the very same piece that was photographed to create this stop motion animation.
